Getting started

Do you offer a free demo class?

New Zentok batches start every month. Our team confirms the next start date for your course when you enquire.

How many students are in a batch?

Batch size varies by course and batch. Our team will tell you about the batch you’re interested in when you enquire.

How does enrollment work?

Choose a course, confirm your batch and fee with our team, then fill in the Enroll page and pay securely. You’re enrolled once payment is verified.

Can my child join?

Can I join from outside India?

Classes and schedules

Are classes live or recorded?

Every class is taught live online by an instructor. If you miss a class, the recording is usually shared with you, and you can watch it any time until you complete or leave your programme.

When are classes held?

Batch timings are shared when you enquire, in Indian Standard Time. Tell us your preferred timing and we’ll match you where we can.

What if I miss a class?

No need to worry. The recording of the class you missed is usually shared with you, and it stays available until you complete or leave your programme, so you can catch up at your own pace.

I work full-time. Can I still join?

Yes. Zentok runs live batches on weekday mornings, weekday evenings and weekends (Indian Standard Time). Private one-on-one classes let you choose your own timings, and if you miss a class the recording is usually shared with you.

Do you offer one-on-one classes?

Yes, for every program. You buy a package of hours, choose your own timings and keep the same instructor throughout. You can reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Can I change my batch timing or take a break?

Yes. Zentok students can switch batch timing, and can pause and rejoin a later batch with our team’s approval.

Course length and exams

How long does German A1 take?

At Zentok, course duration is tailored to your exam date or deadline, and fast-tracking is available. As a guide, German A1 usually needs about 80–100 class hours, which is roughly 4–5 months at five 1-hour classes a week.

How long does JLPT N5 preparation take?

Zentok can tailor your course to your JLPT exam date, with fast-track options. As a guide, JLPT N5 usually takes about 150 hours of study, including self-study.

Which German level do I need to work in Germany?

B1–B2 is common for work, vocational training (Ausbildung) and nursing routes. A1 is often asked for spouse or family-reunion visas, and C1 for German-taught university degrees. Always check the exact requirement for your route.

Which French test do I need for Canada?

Canadian immigration usually asks for the TCF or TEF. Zentok teaches French at every CEFR level (A1 to C2) and prepares students for official French tests.

When is the JLPT held in India?

The JLPT is held in India twice a year, on the first Sunday of July and the first Sunday of December (5 July and 6 December in 2026). Registration usually opens around March–April for July and August–September for December.

Do you conduct the IELTS test?

No. Zentok offers IELTS preparation only. In India the IELTS test is delivered by IDP, and you book it with them directly.

Do you register me for the official exam?

No. You book the official exam yourself with the exam body: JLPT host institutions, Alliance Française for DELF and DALF, the Goethe-Institut (Max Mueller Bhavan) for Goethe exams, or IDP for IELTS. Zentok prepares you with mock tests in the real exam format.

IELTS Academic or General Training: which one do I need?

IELTS Academic is usually for university study, and IELTS General Training is usually for work and migration. Check what your university or immigration authority asks for.

How long will it take to improve my IELTS band?

It depends on the gap between your current and target band. Most learners prepare for 1–3 months, and improving by one full band usually takes a few months of focused study.

Do you guarantee a pass or a band score?

No one can guarantee exam results. Zentok provides structured preparation, practice tests and honest feedback.

Fees and discounts

How much do Zentok courses cost?

Zentok language courses (Japanese, French and German) typically start at ₹25,000 per level, and the full IELTS preparation course (Academic or General Training) typically starts at ₹15,000. Your exact fee depends on your course, level, class format (batch or one-on-one) and schedule. Our team confirms it in a written fee quote within 24 hours of your enquiry.

Do you offer discounts on course fees?

Yes. Zentok offers discounts of 5% to 25%, depending on how your course is tailored. Discounts are available for paying in advance, festival offers, referring a friend and choosing batch (group) classes, and you can combine them. Our team tells you which discounts apply to you when they send your fee quote.

Is there a discount if a group of students enrols together?

Yes. Zentok offers attractive discounts when a large number of students enrol together, as one group or several groups. This suits friends, classmates, colleges and companies. Contact our team with the number of students and the course you’re interested in, and we’ll prepare a group quote.

Are batch classes cheaper than one-on-one classes?

Yes. Choosing batch (group) classes qualifies you for a discount. One-on-one classes cost more because the schedule and pace are built around you alone.

Why isn’t there one fixed price for each course?

Every Zentok course is tailored to the student: the level, class format, pace, exam deadline and payment plan all affect the fee. That’s why we start from a typical price and confirm your exact fee, including any discounts, in a written quote before you pay. You’ll never be charged an amount you haven’t agreed to.

Payment, certificates and policies

How can I pay?

Once our team has sent your fee quote, fill in the Enroll page with your course, details and quote reference, then pay securely on Razorpay with UPI, cards or net banking. You’re enrolled once payment is verified.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Zentok offers full payment, instalments or pay-per-level, with a GST invoice. Our team confirms the plan and amounts before you pay.

What’s included in the course fee?

Live 1-hour classes, mock tests after every module with feedback, practice tests and mock exams, doubt-clearing sessions, and recordings of any class you miss.

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes. Zentok issues a course certificate based on your attendance. It isn’t an official exam certificate: those (JLPT, DELF/DALF, Goethe and IELTS) come from the exam bodies after you pass their exam.

What is your refund policy?

For live classes and cohort programs, a full refund is available if you ask before the first live session. After that, refunds (if any) are pro-rata for unused sessions, subject to approval. See the Refund Policy for full details.
